This image of the Delaware Memorial Bridge was the best image I took for this assignment because of how well it fit into the theme but also because of its use of color. I categorized this image as an aesthetically evaluative image because it highlights the beauty of the skyline. This photo captures the multicolored sky over a silhouette of the bridge which makes the colors stand out. Overall, this image is pleasant to look at. One thing that was challenging about this assignment was experimenting with new styles of photography. In the past, I feel like I would mostly only take aesthetically evaluative images because I like capturing the beauty in the world around me. Trying to take photos that would fit into other categories of photography was new and challenging to me. In the future, I think I will experiment more with the features available on my phone camera to capture higher quality photos and to further experiment with the use of color in my photography.

I agree that this image fits into an interpretive category of photography. Not only is the subject of the photo unknown to the audience, the meaning behind the photo is unknown and can be up for interpretation. Especially since the image is in black and white, the audience can determine their own ideas for the reasoning for this choice. Overall, I like the photo you took and the reasoning why you chose this photo for the interpretive category.
